Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the early morning burglary of a federally licensed firearms dealer on N.C. 115, authorities said.
Jeremiah Ciego, 18, of Charlotte; Joseph Zych, 20, of Gastonia; Isiah Timberlake, 19, of Charlotte; and a 17-year-old Charlotte male were charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny of a firearm, and felony conspiracy. The 17-year-old, a minor whose mugshot was not released, also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon stemming from a previous conviction.
All four stolen firearms have been recovered, police said. The suspects also face charges for related crimes in other jurisdictions.
The Cornelius Police Department credited the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Monroe and Gastonia police departments for their assistance in the investigation.
