Cornelius Parks and Recreation will host its annual Hop Into Spring event this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at James Hoyt Wilhelm Park, offering a family-focused celebration for children ages 3 to 10.

The event features a variety of spring-themed activities, including arts and crafts, music, inflatables and interactive entertainment. A highlight of the afternoon is the Easter Egg Scramble.

Easter Egg Scramble Times
11:15 a.m. – Ages 3-5
11:45 a.m. – Ages 5-6
12:15 p.m. – Ages 6-8
12:45 p.m. – Ages 8-10

Activities are free and open to the public, and attendees can expect a festive atmosphere with a DJ, games, appearances the Easter Bunny. Concessions will be available for purchase from I Stream of Yogurt, Sully’s Steamers and Sweet T’s Lemonry.

Held annually, Hop Into Spring has become a popular local tradition, drawing families from across the Lake Norman area for an afternoon of seasonal fun and activities centered on youth engagement and community connection.
