Uwharrie’s annual meeting is May 14

Uwharrie Capital Corp, parent company of Uwharrie Bank and Uwharrie Investment Advisors will hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday, May 14, at the Stanly County Agri-Civic Center, 26032 Newt Road, in Albemarle. Dinner and fellowship will begin at 4:30 p.m. Shareholders are invited to the business meeting at 6:30 p.m. when items of business, including the election of directors and ratification of appointment of an independent registered public accounting firm, as well as management reports. All shareholders are invited.
