Oktoberfest celebrations around Lake Norman

Lost Worlds Brewing Oktoberfest is Sept. 20

Sept. 12. Who wants to polka? Of course you do and here’s a few spots around Lake Norman to don your lederhosen and enjoy Oktoberfest celebrations starting with this Saturday.

Sept. 13 | 760 Craft Works

100 Gilead Rd. Huntersville

760 Craft Works will have their Oktoberfest Marzen on tap

Start the Oktoberfestival with the Hand Crafted Market from 2-7 pm. The festival also features live music from Steubenville Tootlers polka band and the Lucky Clover will feature a special Bavarian menu featuring beer cheese made with 760’s own dunkel. German style beers will be available all weekend along with the debut of a seasonal pumpkin release.

Sept. 19-21 | Royal Bliss Brewing

7532 Royal Bliss Court, Denver

Blisstoberfest is back and bringing together award-winning craft beer, authentic German-inspired food, and live music all weekend long. Food options include a special menu featuring Chef Bobby’s Blisstoberfest Brats. Get your steins while supplies last, $19 filled with beer or $15 empty. Dust off your lederhosen and enter the costume contest to win prizes.

Sept. 20 | Lost Worlds Brewing

19700-D One Norman Blvd., Cornelius

Kick off the fun with a market and roll right into the jams and tunes from OOPS Polka Band. Expect delicious Oktoberfest food including hot pretzels, brats, sausages, and so much more.

Sept. 27 | King Canary

121 Depot St, Davidson

Come enjoy German brews and festive vibes at the Davidson location. Don’t miss the live music in the afternoon, Stein Holding Competitions, and Oktoberfest Food Favorites from Marlee Jean’s Raw Bar & Kitchen. Note: King Canary in Mooresville is hosting their own celebration on Sept. 20.

Sept. 27 | Primal Brewing

16432 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville

Get ready for a day packed with beer, brats and Bavarian-style fun. The traditional Oktoberfest Marzen and crisp Kolsch will be on tap. Games include a stein holding contest and best lederhosen as well as live music from the North Carolina Polka Time Allstars.
