Safe Summer Launch Day Saturday at Blythe Landing

May 15. The Joshua Murray Boating, Safety, Education, and Awareness Center will hold an “Annual Safe Summer Launch Day” this Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm at Blythe Landing Park. Lake officials will also dedicate a new Coast Guard Auxiliary Radio Station, an upgrade to safety communications, just in time for Safe Boating Week.

The event includes:

—Free certified vessel safety inspections
—Engagement with emergency services and lake patrol
—Exhibits and resources from safety-focused organizations and vendors
