U.S. Senator Thom Tillis

March 20. Approximately 30 protestors gathered at the intersection of West Catawba and Jetton between 11:30 am to 1:30 pm attempting to get the attention of US Sen. Thom Tillis as he attended a fundraising lunch.

Protestors are “demanding representation” and question the “lack of Town Halls” by Tillis according to protestors Joan Adams and Karen Asche.

Just do not vote for him again. He was major advocate for the this toll road (50 year contract) debacle. With highest prices in the country.

Good job to all the folks who showed up – there were many many more who couldn’t make it out. Fight for your country while you still can!

Seems to me that he is afraid of being bullied by Trump. Now it appears he is afraid to face his constituents (even in “red” Cornelius). Some kind of representation we’ve got, huh?
