Paul Harrison Irvin, Jr. “Pepsi”, 79, of Mooresville went to live with our Lord in Heaven on February 6, 2016. He was born on May 18, 1936 in Huntersville to the late Paul and Pauline Earnhardt Irvin. He was a longtime member of Huntersville A.R.P. Church, where he served as an elder and a deacon.

 

Survivors include his wife Barbara Carpenter Irvin; daughters, Cindy Carrigan of Concord, Sherry Black of Mooresville, Beverly Darnell and husband Dennis of Cornelius, Sheila Worrell and husband David of Goose Creek, SC; siblings, Ellie Lee Bryant, Joan Holbrook and 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His brother John Lynn Irvin preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, February 11 at Huntersville ARP Church with Rev. Lee Shelnutt officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 prior. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
