Nov. 3. The annual Christmas tree at Birkdale Village is up so cue the holiday activities. (Christmas is only 52 days away.)

• Birkdale on Ice | Nov. 18 – Jan. 28. Tickets go on sale Nov. 6.
• Breakfast with Santa | Saturday, Dec. 2. Get tickets here.
• The Menorah Lighting at Birkdale Village | Dec. 7, 5:30 pm.

Birkdale should build a bridge over Sam Furr connecting the 2 commercial areas. No one is going to cross that busy street to get to the other side, especially with families! It could be a beautiful bridge/structure that is the centerpiece of the Birkdale experience. Think about how that might ease parking issues and people having to drive across the street to enjoy the other half.
