May 8. Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1641 from JV Washam released 1,500 ladybugs at the Cornelius Community Garden on Catawba Avenue, just east of I-77. The girls, who were working on their Garden Journey Book for several weeks, had a garden dinner party and happily released the ladybugs. The Community Garden, has 65 plots, complete with vegetables and flowers.Cornelius News
