By Ryan Moxon — Hough mostly sailed through the most difficult portion of its regular-season schedule and will face three opponents with a combined record of 3-12 before wrapping up the season against No. 17-ranked Myers Park and 4-1 Hopewell.

The 5-0 Huskies travel to Charlotte tonight to face 0-5 West Mecklenburg, which has given up 143 points in its first five games, including a 36-0 shutout by West Charlotte in Week 4.

Despite the losses, the Hawks have put up consistent passing numbers, averaging 187 yards a game from sophomore quarterback Drake Lineburger. Their leading receiver is senior Amaree Jones, who is averaging 68 yards a game.

The team is averaging 57 yards a game on the ground, led by senior Jayden Huff.

Red zone conversion has been troublesome for West Mecklenburg through the first half of the season, with only six touchdowns scored on offense.
