Spring Fling Eggstravaganza at Rescue Ranch set for April 1

March 13. Rescue Ranch will host Spring Fling Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 1, with age and ability specific egg hunts.

The event will be 10 am – 3 pm at Rescue Ranch, 1424 Turnersburg Hwy., Statesville 28625.

Egg hunts will begin at 10:15 am and run through 2:30 pm. An egg hunt for exceptional children will be at 12:30 pm in a quieter designated location to help participants focus and not feel overwhelmed.

 Admission is $5 and all egg hunt participants must register in advance rescueranch.com and be paid prior to the day of the event. Egg hunts are scheduled every half hour in two age groups 4 and younger and 5 to 9 years.

 Families can also enjoy face painting, barnyard animal ambassadors, animal ambassador presentations, food trucks, raffle baskets, and the 10,000-square-foot inclusive playground.

New for this year will be a touch a truck interactive display. Also, Big Oh! Balloons will be on site offering tethered hot air balloon rides. Tethered balloon rides require an additional fee and are weather permitting.

 Admission for adults and children not participating in the egg hunts will be paid when entering the ranch and is $5 per person with children 1 and younger free.

Please leave your pets home for the Spring Fling Eggstravaganza.

 In case of inclement weather, a day pass to than Ranch’s 10,000-square-foot, all-inclusive playground and nature trails will be issued for each child registered for the egg hunt.

 All proceeds from the Spring Fling Eggstravaganza will benefit the nonprofit animal welfare organization which promotes respect for all animals through education; is committed to agricultural, environmental and wildlife conservation; and facilitates rehabilitation, rescue, and responsible pet ownership in order to enhance the human-animal bond
