Nov. 13. Hough High School’s Ella Hauser has signed a National Letter of Intent to Clemson University to participate in ACC Women’s Soccer in 2021. Parents Scott and Sheri Hauser, of Cornelius, both attended Clemson University as student athletes. Ella hopes to finish her senior year at Hough with a State Championship and possible National Championship in 2021. Ella started the season strong prior to the COVID-19 shut-down on athletics. Scott was on the Clemson baseball team and Sheri was on the inaugural women’s soccer team in 1994. Sheri also was inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009.
