A landmark home on Lake Norman has sold for $1.65 million after being listed at $1.875 million by Jim Carlyle and Lance Carlyle of Carlyle Properties. The 2,675 square foot home is perched on a bluff at the end of Mollypop Lane. The house, nestled in trees with a miles-long view of Lake Norman, has 1,500 square feet of decking as well as its own boardwalk. Sandy Reynolds of ReMax Executive represented the buyer. The house is assessed at $1.22 million according to Mecklenburg County tax records.
